SPORT PSYCHOLOGY

SPORT PSYCHOLOGY

I’m on a mission to help athletes improve their game by improving their mind.

I’m Sport Psychologist in Training (SEPit) and I’ve worked with athletes from a variety sports including: football, tennis, golf and canoeing.

I now work privately and teach workshops to athletes in order to improve key areas of their mindset.

I first became obsessed with sport psychology when working as a Strength & Conditioning coach.

I would regularly find myself having conversations with players about their game beyond the physical. We talked anxieties, confidence and motivation among many others, and I began to ask myself whether I could help make an impact.

Fast forward a few years and I’ve completed my Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology and now work privately with athletes and teach workshops to youth athletes at British Canoeing

I think that everything is possible as long as you put your mind to it and you put the work and time into it. I think your mind really controls everything.

My Services

Performance Anxiety

Performance anxiety happens, and it can have catastrophic affects on our game. Together we’ll learn to understand the source and begin to work on psychological skills such as pre-performance routines, that will help reduce anxiety.

Motivation

Sometimes our inner drive and motivation can take a turn. Together we’ll learn to set new goals focusing on process instead of outcome. Soon motivation will support rather than hinder performance.

Confidence

Winning and losing both impact performance. Being able accept the outcome and reduce our extreme highs and lows can help understand and improve confidence.
